Perfection is not a word I throw around lightly; I would not use it to describe even some of my most favorite albums, such as Matt Kearney's City of Black and White, Joshua Radin's We Were Here, or Christian Floyd's Dreams Into Daylight. But Some Mad Hope from Matt Nathanson is brilliantly written acoustic rock with excellent pop sensibilities, emotional and poetic lyrics and vivid sonic imagery. All in all, a perfect album from Car Crash to Bulletproof Weeks. I eagerly anticipate his next offering.

I loved this CD. Every song on it was great. I hadn't heard of Matt Nathanson before hearing "Come On Get Higher" on the radio. It was catchy so I looked him up and listened to the song clips and it sounded like something I would like so I bought it. I was wrong; it's something I LOVE. I love every song. My very favorite is the last song, "All We Are We Are". I love listening to this on my way home from my stressful job. It's very relaxing and I find myself singing all the way home.

I am still waiting fro this cd to arrive, there has been some difficulty in delivery. I hope it arrives soon.

Matt Nathanson is an incredible singer songwriter. His lyrics are true blue. They get to your heart and your soul. His voice penetrates through your mind and controls you so you only hear the music and nothing else that is going on around you. Wonderful!
