I love Hooty and the Blowfish. I also love a lot of country music. I figured this CD would be good just because of it being the same singer, but the songs are very bland. There aren't any that stand out accept "Don't Think I Don't Think About it." This doesn't even sound like a country album.

Honestly, I really bought this ablum because I'm a Hootie fan. Actually downloaded it and forgot I had it until I came across it a few days ago. Talk about missing out!
This album is about life, love, hurt, pain, joy!! You will be able to relate to ALL of the songs on this album. They are all good. This a rare gem as finding not only good music, but good albums nowadays is becoming a rarity!

Very nice collection of country tunes. In the wonderful tradition of country music--and Darius as a songwriter--these songs are little stories that take you someplace else. His voice is so rich and evocative, it is really a pleasure having Darius purr in your ear. And good for him not being afraid to follow his passion and make country records along with the Hootie music.

Darius has the writing ability and the voice to land in any music category, but he really nails it with the country genre.
