The negative reviews about this album are way off. This album is a great first release for a group like this. Great writing ability. Puddle Of Mudd had attitude and soul. From "Control" to "Blurry" really wake you up. I have listen to 3 of their albums and this one is still the best so far. Just listen to the samples and you will hear the talent. All groups get their influence from another band... It's called "growing up", you idiots!

I had this album in my collection and hadn't listened to it in a while so i popped it into the car cd player in Oct 2009. This really is a great album. While the hit song was She Hates Me, most of the album really doesn't sound like that song. Alot of the time the singer sounds similar to Alice in Chains, but Puddle of Mudd's music is less dirge-like and is a but brighter in sound. Definately some fine melodies on this cd. Recommended.

I've listened to this cd pretty much non stop since I ordered it over a month ago and haven't gotten tired of it yet. If you play Audiosurf this cd has some great songs for that app too.

If you like a little alternative style, you'll really like Puddle of Mudd, worth every penny because this is great music!!
